Dear caring parent,
I know that you really want to parent consciously. You want to give your children the space and freedom to develop into their own unique selves. You want to have a smooth flow to your days. And some days this actually works!
But the REALITY is that most of the time you feel a bit LOST.
Because of your desire to parent with a gentle and loving connection, you tend to err on the side of permissiveness until your kids push your buttons and you BLOW UP. You might yell, threaten, bribe, punish and maybe even grab your child too hard or spank them.
Then you feel REGRET, REMORSE, GUILT and SHAME. You promise yourself it won’t happen again. But it does. Again and again.
You are STUCK and you don’t know where to turn. You feel as if there is no one you can talk to about your behavior.
And you are even starting to doubt whether this way of parenting really works. Or you wonder if maybe there is just something WRONG WITH YOU.
TRUST ME, I understand.
Just a few years ago, I was in the same place. I had a pretty good idea of how I wanted to parent my children. I had read all the books out there. And yet, in a heated moment with my child, I couldn’t seem to remember to put anything I had learned into practice.
But, then I made a decision.
I made a decision to be willing to do whatever it took to be the Mom that my children deserve. I spent time and money (that I wasn’t sure I had) to learn everything I could about peaceful parenting. And the biggest thing I learned was this:
Peaceful Parenting happens from the INSIDE OUT.
Inside every single parent, there is the seed and the capability to inspire their child’s cooperation without coercion. Without exception.
There is nothing wrong with you.
The problem is that you can’t magically give your children what wasn’t given to you, UNLESS you take specific steps to learn a new way. That is where working with a parenting coach can help.
I am here to remind you that it doesn’t have to be a struggle. You can build the family life of your dreams!
My question to you is: If you could solve one problem with your child, what would it be?
Drop me a line here and let me know. I respond to each and every email personally.
Big Hugs,
Renée
